I find inspiration from my fellow bloggers. I have some awards to acknowledge and share:
From Wool N Nuts
From Book Dreaming
Because I love themes, I'm going to pass these awards onto my newest followers - thanks for joining!:
Paul & Karen from MuseItUp Publishing
I'm going to work on making an award too. I'd like to do one up for young bloggers. There's a lot of great blogs out there by kids!
Speaking of encouraging young bloggers, Paper Dolls posted a review of the book Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror by Chris Priestly, and the author left a comment on their blog. You'd have thought Elvis had stopped by, the way Miss 12 jumped up and down with excitement. She has since told all her friends and is singlehandedly working the sales for Priestly's books in our country town here in Australia. It's great to see marketing work on a personal level and not just at the masses :-). So, in return I suggest a visit to the author's blog: http://chrispriestley.blogspot.com/ (his new book cover design is awesome!).
Awww - thanks Charmaine! You're a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that - an author commenting on their blog - extreme awesomeness!
Congratulations on the awards, well deserved. Thanks for new links to check out as well.

Thoughts in Progress
Congratulations on winning those awards! I loved all your recent posts--and how you manage to find time to keep three of them going is beyond me--countless energy, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your awards, well deserved. Thank you so much for awarding me and my blog. Your support and encouragement is appreciated.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post, how someone touched another with a comment.
Congrats on the awards and thanks for the shout-out! I think the story of Chris Priestly visiting Paper Dolls is amazing!! If I'm ever published, I'd love to search out bloggers promoting my work and making personal comments to thank them. Too cool!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the awards! How exciting for the Paper Dolls to have an author comment. It's amazing how a few words can make such a big impression.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the well-deserved awards! And it is fantastic when someone you admire comments on your blog. I wrote a song review on 'Angie Baby' (sang by Helen Reddy) and the song-writer, Alan O'Day, came by my blog to say he enjoyed my thoughts on his song, and he even said Angie would have enjoyed my review. I was on cloud 9! How wonderful and sweet of him. So I completely understand Paper Dolls happiness!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Charmaine! I can't wait to share this lovely award with some of my newest followers.
ReplyDeleteAlso, YEAH for Tilly and Milly...I'm going to hop on over to their blog and post something special for them!
Have a wonderful week! Tory
Love the pic on the sunshine award. Makes me want to go out and dance in the rain!
ReplyDeleteGlynis sent me. Congrats on your awards.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the great awards, Charmaine. I see some new ones on your list that I need to check out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments everyone, it is fun receiving and passing on awards, it reminds me of the football cards my friends and I would swap when we were kids.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Charmaine! I really appreciate it! :) I hope you're having a wonderful day. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I'm sorry, I totally forgot who gave me the award and had to go on a search.
