I'm not sure that i can keep up with the grueling schedule, since I've just started a new job (albeit part-time) but it does sound like a lot of fun and a great way to meet new bloggers.

That said, I can totally understand how blogging would take time away from your writing projects. I always feel way too much guilt when I don't respond to comments or return a visit from one of my readers. It's tough to strike a balance and sometimes you just have to take a blogging break and get to work. I think blogging 1x a week is a good idea, too.

Good luck with all your writing projects!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2774506789160968096.post-18631405334948870562013-03-17T17:37:27.838+10:002013-03-17T17:37:27.838+10:00Thanks for the heads up! "I live in Australia and post o...Hi Charmaine

"I live in Australia and post on Monday when it's Monday here..." I love it. I remember you telling me about the rap over the knuckles you got a few times for being out of sync. If you don't like rules, you aren't a good fit for the A - Z. There are even more this year.

It's not so much the posting that is exhausting, it's being fair and visiting lots of blogs. On the days I didn't get to visit other blogs last year (and let's face it, we have a real life), I got very few comments.

Pre-scheduling a month's worth of blog posts isn't really teaching us what the original idea was - to learn to blog every day. But blogging every day is a bad idea IMHO - that means you expect people to visit every day and I don't think I'm that important, not even for one month of the year.

But it's not just one month - the blogs have been quiet for about a month now as people are busily preparing their posts for April, then April is a frenzy, then May is quiet again as everyone recovers. Hmmm.

Like you, I'll post once a week and work on my writing projects. Three years is enough for me!

Happy Writing!Denise Covey https://www.blogger.com/profile/07106490051555233439noreply@blogger.com
